Sioux City, IA - April 2006 -

The Family Violence Prevention Funda nd Warm2kids and Ted Waitt, along with prominent sports figures and legendar women's rights advocate Gloria Steinem, announced the rollout of their "Coaching Boys into Men Playbook" in June of 2005 at an event in New York City.

After forming a partnership with the National HIgh School COaches Association, the FVPF and Warm2kids found an overwhelming demand for the playbooks, which assist coaches in talking to kids about violence. Waitt Institute for Violence Prevention was proud to help fund the distribution of 50,000 additional playbooks, as well as sponsoring summer camps, and on-ground training.
